Brief Biography

Keren S. Vergon, Ph.D. is Coordinator Research Programs/Services in the Department of Child and Family Studies at the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute of the University of South Florida.  Her current research activities include Project Director for a Florida Medicaid Reform study; Project Director for the System of Care Practice Review study for One Community Partnership in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Project Director for the Trajectories of Youth Movement Sub-study and team member for the Trauma Sub-Study on AHCA’s Out-of-Home Care Study for Fiscal Year 2007/08; and Data Manager for a SAMHSA Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) Drug Dependency Court grant.  Dr. Vergon has 11 years of research experience, in the areas of older adults’ and children’s mental health. She received her Ph.D. in Aging Studies from the University of South Florida.
