Brief Biography
Kathleen is currently involved in two projects within CFS. She is the Project Director for Case Studies of System Implementation, a 5-year national study of system implementation. She is also Co-PI and Project Director for Developing Sustianable Infrastructure in Support of Quality Field-Based Practice, a community research project with the Children's Board of Hillsborough County. Kathleen brings to these projects experience in conducting qualitative research, skills in conducting focus groups, and system and policy level interests and knowledge. Kathleen also has extensive hands-on experience in the field of mental health, first as an educator, then a Director of Education and Program Director within a community-based mental health agency prior to joining the Department of Child and Familty Studies. Currently, Kathleen is working towards a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Education through the USF College of Education, with a focus on multidisciplinary approaches to mental health service delivery.
