Brief Biography
Kathy is a Consultant with the Prevent-Teach-Reinforce (PTR) research project. She works in the tri-county area with school-based teams developing functional behavior assessments and behavior support plans for students with challenging behaviors. She also provides training and technical assistance to teachers and school personnel in implementing evidence-based interventions, collecting data, and developing materials for dissemination. Prior to her work with PTR, Kathy worked as a Consultant with the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities providing direct assistance to families, technical assistance to school-based personnel and conducting workshops and trainings across central Florida.
