Brief Biography

Marsha Black serves as one of the early childhood reseachers within the Department of Child and Family Studies. Marsha is currently the co-principal investigator for the three-year HIPPY USA AmeriCorps evaluation project and the Florida HIPPY Longitudinal Study that will examine academic outcomes of HIPPY children from kindergarten through the third grade in Florida public schools. She also conducting evaluation activities for the Tampa HIPPY Pilot Study developed to gather information on the usefulness of the Get it! Got it! Go! for documenting the influence of the program on childrens growth and development.
